Good quality, minor shipping note

I purchased a pair of rose quartz earrings and a matching citrine bracelet. The quality of both pieces is genuinely good; the gemstones are clear and the silver work is well-finished. They arrived nicely packaged, which made unboxing feel special. Shipping took about 9 days to get to me on the East Coast, which wasn't terrible but felt a little long compared to some other online stores. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the tracking. Overall, I'm satisfied with the jewellery and the value for money, just wish shipping was a touch faster.

Reliable as always, new ring

This is my third time buying from Olive May Jewellery. I previously got a couple of their stacking rings and a birthstone necklace for my sister. This time I went for an amethyst ring. Like before, the quality is consistent – good sterling silver and the gemstone has nice clarity. Delivery was pretty much the same as my last order, took about a week and a half to arrive. They're a solid choice for well-made, understated jewellery. I keep coming back because I know what to expect, and they always deliver on it.

Lovely labradorite necklace

I ordered a labradorite necklace for myself a few weeks ago. The ordering process was straightforward on their website. Delivery took about 8 days to reach me in California, which was within their estimated timeframe. The necklace itself is beautiful, the labradorite has a nice flash to it, and the sterling silver chain feels sturdy. I appreciated that it came in a small gift box, even though it was for me. I had a quick question about care, and their customer service responded within a day, which was helpful. Overall, a very positive experience and I'm really pleased with the quality.

Cute ring, good price

I grabbed a moonstone ring last week. Saw it on Instagram and thought it was really pretty. It came in about a week, which was fine. The ring looks just like the pictures. Pretty happy with it, seemed like a good deal for handmade stuff.

Does anyone know how long shipping usually takes to the US? Specifically to California.

B Brian Garcia 2 weeks ago
Mine took about 10 days to get to New York last month. Came from the UK, so depends on customs I guess.

To California it was about 2 weeks for me. It's not super fast but it's handmade so I didn't mind.

Can you stack discount codes at Olive May? Trying to use a first-time buyer one with a sale item.

S Sean H. 3 weeks ago
Nah, usually only one code per order. Tried it last Black Friday and it wouldn't let me.

Pretty sure they don't allow stacking codes. Most online stores are like that these days.

Are the gemstones they use actually real? Sometimes these online places use synthetic stuff.

G Grace T. 1 month ago
From what I can tell, yeah, they're real. My amethyst ring looks and feels legit, definitely not plastic.

They say on their site they use genuine gemstones. My moonstone pendant has that real flash to it, so I believe it.

How are returns if something doesn't work out? Is it a hassle sending stuff back to the UK?

M Mary Rivera 1 month ago
I returned a ring that was too big, it wasn't too bad. Just had to pay for return shipping, but they processed the refund pretty quickly once they got it back.

Returns were easy, just follow their instructions on the website. I think you have 30 days.

Hey, thinking about getting a ring for my girlfriend, but I have no clue about her size. How do you guys figure that out with Olive May?

J Jeff Johnson 1 month ago
They have a ring sizer you can order, or there's a printable guide on their site. I just measured one of her existing rings with a ruler, worked fine.

Yeah, I just ordered the sizer, came pretty quick. Worth it to make sure it fits right.

I saw Midsummer Star has similar pieces. How does Olive May compare in terms of quality or style?

J Josh 2 weeks ago
Olive May feels a bit more artisan and unique, like really handmade. Midsummer Star is nice but sometimes feels a bit more mass-produced to me.

J James Nelson 2 weeks ago
I've bought from both. Olive May's gemstones feel a bit higher quality and their silver work seems more detailed. Midsummer Star is good for basics though.

Thinking of getting a gold vermeil necklace but worried it'll just rub off quickly. Is their vermeil good quality?

B Ben Robinson 2 weeks ago
I've had a gold vermeil bracelet from them for about 6 months, wear it a lot and it's holding up really well. No major fading or anything.

S Sam Martinez 2 weeks ago
Their vermeil is thicker than some other brands I've tried. Just make sure to take it off for showers and stuff like they recommend.

Anyone know if their stuff is actually made in the UK? Or is it just designed there and then manufactured elsewhere?

J Jason N. 1 month ago
They craft everything in Cornwall, that's what their website says. My order even came with a little card about it.

It's handmade in Cornwall, UK. They're pretty proud of that, it's a big part of their brand.
